How long do you keep applications actively on file?

Applications are kept on file for up to one year. Please update your contact information with us or provide additional information as required for each position for which you apply.

When will I get a call for an interview?

Typically applicants applying for most positions are contacted within one to two weeks if not sooner. Professional and management-level applicants usually contacted within one month. Selection Committees are encouraged to contact applicants within these time frames. However, if you have not been contacted for an interview within this period, please contact our Staffing Services department by phone at 828-225-6122 or by e-mail at employmentquestions@biltmore.com to inquire about your application status.

What should I do if I would like to be considered for another vacant position?

Contact us by e-mail at employmentquestions@biltmore.com or by phone at 828-225-6122, or in person at the Staffing Center. Please let us know that you have an application or resume currently on file and provide us with the following information:

  1. Your name
  2. Your telephone number
  3. The specific job title for which you would like to be considered.

How can I find out which positions are currently available?

Visit our online Job Listings or visit our Staffing Center.

How often are your job listings updated?

Our job listings are updated at least once per week. At times they may be updated more frequently.

Where is the Staffing Center located and what are the hours of operation?

The Staffing Center is located on the 4th floor of the Biltmore Building at One North Pack Square in downtown Asheville beside the Vance Monument. To view a map of the location or to get driving directions, visit Google Maps. Hours: Monday–Friday, 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (closed on holidays). If you would like to visit outside of these hours, please call for an appointment at 828-225-6122.

What can I expect when visiting the Staffing Center?

You will have access to the most current information about openings in the company in the Staffing Center, and can meet directly with our Human Resources staff members to discuss career strategies.

How many positions may I apply for at one time?

Applications are typically sent out for consideration for only one or two positions at one time. You are welcome to reapply for another vacancy if you have heard that you are no longer in consideration for position(s) for which you have previously applied. To reapply, please follow the procedure outlined above under "What should I do if I would like to be considered for another vacant position?"

What should I do if my employment question is not answered on this page?
